Those Behind National Parks Traveler

Share

Posting national park content week in and week out throughout the year is not an easy task. Fortunately, at National Parks Traveler we have great volunteers, some dedicated freelance contributors, and an incredible team effort to make it happen.

As founder and editor-in-chief, I've been incredibly fortunate to have networked with some talented and truly passionate people who have made the Traveler the go-to website for news and features on national parks. Their work product attracted more than 3 million readers and listeners this year to Traveler's flagship website, Apple News feed, and weekly podcasts. Kudos to these folks:

* Rita Beamish, an incredibly talented reporter and writer

* Patrick Cone, Traveler's special projects editor

* Wilbur Ince, the tech wizard who keeps Traveler humming

* Scott Johnson, overseer of our Apple News feed

* Rebecca Latson, our contributing photographer and Instagram wizard

* John Miles, the consummate book reviewer

* Kim O'Connell, a wordsmith who never shies from a story

* Jess Repanshek, the sound recording engineer who perfects the podcasts

* David and Kay Scott, authors of The Complete Guide To the National Park Lodges and frequent Traveler contributors

* Jim "Stratto" Stratton, our far afield correspondent

* Gary Vogt, ever astute copyeditor with a deep national park knowledge

* Erika Zambello, word and podcast contributor

And thanks to our occasional contributors:

* Rene Agredano

* Danny Bernstein

* Dolores Kong and Dan Ring

* Barbara Moritsch

* Bob Pahre

* Alfred Runte

* Jane Schneider

* Fred Swanson
