Short train rides, which include the Scranton Limited or Caboose Experience, are scheduled to begin on May 11. The first excursion trip of the season will take place on Saturday, May 20, to Carbondale, Pennsylvania, allowing visitors to experience the community's Spring Marketplace event.

Starting Saturday, April 1, visitors will be able to purchase advance tickets online through recreation.gov for summer excursions (May-August); tickets for autumn excursions (September-October) will be released 90 days in advance of the excursion date.
