Politics Often Trump Science in Nature

Share

For those of who you who don't always drill down and read all the comments that are posted to this site, I'd like to focus your attention on an article that Mike Lommler pointed out in his comment to my "Yellowstone Biologists: Politics, Not Science, Likely Will Decide Snowmobile Issue" post.
The article, which can be found here, is quite sobering for those of us who would like to see science play a greater role in land-management decisions.
Of course, if the powers that be embraced science, perhaps we wouldn't be so worried about climate change/global warming.
